A perfect start
Praha & Kladno, 14.10.2006
Our two teams ("A team" playing the second league, "B team" playing the district teams competition) participated the first of five rounds on Saturday OCT 14,2006.
The "A team" played in Prague against two Prague teams TJ Spoje Praha and
Astra ZM Praha. Both rivals were considered as the hardest ones of all second-league teams but this didn't discourage our team when all our players had showed their best. Kladno "A team" won both matches 5:3 and gained 6 important points in this all season competition.
The "B team" played in Kladno against the last year winners So Jílové and competition newcomers TJ Loko Praha. The B team also won both matches - thanks to our veterans, we have to admit - namely 5:3 against So Jílové and 7:1 against TJ Loko Praha.
Hope that both our teams will continue to perform such excellent results.

September summary
Benátky nad Jizerou, 16.-17.9.2006 BENÁTKY CUP GPB adults
Dan and Štěpán participated this tournament. However, they were not very successful when both ending in the second round of Men's Singles. Even the Men's Doubles didn't come right well for them when they ended on the 5th place.
Králův Dvůr, 16.-17.9.2006 GPC U17
Kateřina Švihlíková, Jaroslav Holeček and Jakub Caithaml represented our club on this tournament. Kateřina and Jaroslav won all their disciplines, which ensured them succession to a republic A tournament. Jakub has just begun to experience such an event however he won his first golden medal in Men's Doubles (together with Jaroslav).
Spoje Praha, 23.9.2006 Memorial Ing. Holobradý Cup GPA adults
This tournament showed an international representation: the Danish Inspiration Team 2006. These Danes have showed us why they had been included in this team when winning Mixed Doubles and Men's Doubles. There were 3 players from Kladno, too (Dan Skrčený, Štěpán Pulkrábek and Monika Erbenová). Unfortunatelly Dan and Monika failed to proceed to higher rounds in Mixed Doubles when having lost the game in the second round against the Danes Sorensen-Mecher (later winners). It went the same with Dan and Štěpán in Men's Doubles when losing the game in the first round against the Danish pair (later winners) Jensen-Andersen.
